Maybe it wasn't the Whydah as I don't believe ships had steel plating in the early 1700s (or did they???)

were those pieces dragged down to pleasant bay from the wreck off wellfleet or something? Is that really the Whydah?

Those are divers from the Whydah and that is town cove. The seacraft is a sweet ride!
