Absolutely. Best boat I've owned. Previously a 2 boat Grady White owner.

I own the 25' CC with the jackshaft diesel.

One thing all owners come to appreciate is the factory support. One phone call usually gets you the owner, Mac Privitt. He just solved a minor issue for me.

The boat is built like a battlewagon and takes the rough water in anything you would go out in.

I also have a 2004 25 with the kamd 300 Volvo diesel. Absolutely the best boat I have ever owned & I've owned a few. Very fuel efficient a true offshore battle wagon. Charlie

Are these I/O boats or straight inboards, and if I/O, do you keep them in the water or on a lift/trailer?

I fish on a new 35 foot Carolina Classic with twin Cummins diesel. Without a doubt is the finest boat that I have ever fished on in it size range. The detail work is second to none. The boat is quality throughout. I have also fished a 28 foot Volvo diesels, again quality. The ride on both boats is excellent. Look at other boats then look at a Classic you will be impress with the workmanship. The 35 I fish on will be in the Atlantic City boat show this weekend

Good question above. Does it matter about keeping them in the water? If I go this route it will be slipped.

Cappy,

The new gas engine 25's are inboard.

The diesel is still a jackshaft, meaning inboard connected by a driveshaft to an outdrive. The engine sits under the helm and passenger seat just like a regular inboard, unlike a typical I/O.

For slip, the gas inboard would probably be the way to go.

I have the diesel jackshaft to outdrive and I keep it in a lift.

I have a CC28. Twin IB Diesel. Keep it in a slip. I absolutely love it. Wish I could afford a CC35! Above comments about excellent factory support are true. The Privott's are very conscientious people.
