Default Best style of bean bag for CC???

We went fishing this past friday and one of the guys brought along some bean bags for the ride and they worked great. We have a 25 Contender and are now looking at ordering some for the boat off e-searider. The question I have is what is the better design the teardrop or the wedge? The wedge looks like it would be easier on the neck, but I have no experience with either. Also, are the small bags really to small? We would like to save as much room on the boat as possible, but for $100 a piece we want to make the right decision. Thanks

If you want to see over the gunnals then the wedge is your only choice. i have 2 wedges and 1 teardrop for sleeping. Love them.

I've got the armchair and the Mrs. loves it. The arms gives you a place to put your arms and the chair has 2 straps at the floor level that you can hold to stablize yourself in the bumps. My gunnels are rather low, so she can see just fine. Took a long time to get but the quality is good.

I got a small tear-drop for my daughter who is about five foot nothing. It is fine for her and she loves it, but for anybody taller I would recommend one of the larger bags.

I bought 3 small wedges and am thinking about selling them, there is more room in the back of my boat than I thought. They are fine width-wise but they sit too low for my spoiled buddies, it's *hard* for them to stand up from a seated position quickly

I have two wedges and we love them. My cockpit gunwale is low enough for a seated person to look over ..... that helps some folks. The neck support is perfect. I have watched guys sleep in that bag when we were running hard in 4 ft choppy seas.

I got a large teardrop. I am a big guy, and this is the largest bag they make. The bag is great, nice and firm, but very comfortable seat. When you sit, you feel like you are sitting on top of the bag, instead of sinking into like the beanbags I remember when I was a kid.

Good stuff. If I got another one I would get the teardrop.
