Default Looking for Alum. Fabr. guy in Houston area

I am designing and spec'ing out a piece of gear that will be submerged in salt water for extended periods.

I need to get a quote from a fabricator in the greater Houston area. The material is 6061T aluminim pipe and 1/4" plate. Very little plate cutting/welding, mostly pipe. 1-1/2" schedule 40. Only 1 articulating joint, of a basic scheme.

The work needs to be high grade, no shade tree guys need apply (I already have one of those, not including my shady self); this is high-end commercial use stuff and needs to be welded very well, a-la Birdsall, etc.

If you fit the bill, shoot me a PM.

Thanks

Big Al

cgrand,

It needs to be greater Houston, or the MS coast. Alot of coast outfits were wiped out by Katrina.

If I get orders placed (and I anticpate such ), I will need to be on hand for the initial build. There are always bumps and changes when you build something the first time, and nothing is as effective as being there.

I will keep your suggestion, though. Ya never know.....

Thanks for the feedback, I sincerely appreciate it.

Big Al
