Question: Aurora VS721 bottom wax

Has anyone tried the Aurora VS721 bottom wax? If so, I'd like to get your comments.

Supposedly, this acts as both a barrier and antifouling coat.

According to Aurora literature, it would eliminate the need to bottom paint.

My boat will be in a slip at the Jersey shore.

absolute flatout uniquevable waste of time - snake oil.

I drank the cool aid, went through all of the prep steps, very carefully, applied the wax, dropped the boat in the water and within two weeks had growth - the same time an untreated hull would.

I talked to the owner prior to doing this...got his experiences...absolute bs.

more over it was a MESS to remove.
