Default 2004 28' Scout Abaco

I'm getting close to sign on a 24' Abaco 2004. It has twin Yamha 225's 4 stroke with 700 hours. The boat seems to be in perfect condition, previous owner bought a bigger boat. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips to look out for? Any help would be appreciated.

I think most people are very satisfied with the Abaco 280 and I can't recall ever hearing complaints with the boat or twin 225 set up.
Just do the usual survey on it and you'll be good to go.

Also check the warranty history on the motors and look into getting a Y.E.S. extended service contract on them while they are still under the original warranty. A valuable addition to any used boat purchase, plus gives you peace of mind when buying used.

Good luck!

Check the scuppers....mine has the rubber flappers(2-an inner & outer) on each. If you are missing any of the flappers, you will take on water. If any are missing, contact Scout--they will be glad to send some out at no charge.
