Default sea hunt sea trial

well i went for a test run on the 26ft sea hunt cc, the boat had twin yammie 150 4-strokes and took it out on a very windy nasty day out on the bay that was white capped and at least a 4ft chop. the boat handled very well i was impressed, yes i did get a little wet on the turns and i mean a little, over all and for the money an awesome boat. could not see spending almost 90,000 on the 252 grady or 120,00 for the southport or contender. this boat out the door with every option and a 2007 was 61000. the sailfish 2660 with the same power was 72000, and it to is a fine boat, i went with the sea hunt.

That's really great to hear. After much research on this site, I decided to buy the 22 footer. Will pick her up next week. I hope our Sea Hunts will give us years of enjoyment. (and a lot more money left in the bank account)

Congratulations on your new boat. Sounds like a great rig.

I keep hearing good things about the 26' SH. I can't wait to see the 24' from Sea Hunt this year. Supposed to be set up much like the 26' and will apparently be available with a single only. Hopefully will have reason in the next few months to take a 26' and 24' SH on a test run.

Congrats!

That 60k you're saving buys lots and lots of gas, upgraded hardware (if you feel the need), fishing tackle and beer.

Good luck with your new rig.
