Fireworks at Solomons????

Used to boat in the UB around Annapolis. We've always anchored off the Naval Academy to watch some awsome fireworks displays.

Have moved the boat to Solomons, MD. Anyone know if there are decent fireworks displays down there that can be watched from the water?

Right there at Solomons. I anchor out in the Pax with a few dozen (hundreds?) of my closest friends and buddies.... The good thing is, it's REAL easy to get back to the NRC marina.

We spent the 4th at Solomons about 5-6 years ago. They put on a great show. If I remember correctly, all the fireworks were shot from a barge out in the river so everyone had a great view. One thing I remember, the show went on so long that towards the end, we got bored and went back to our boat before they finished.
