Default Found product that removes hard water spots from GPS screen

I may have accidentally found a product that removes hard water stains from the anti-glare coating on my Lowrance GPS/Sonar w/o damage. I was spraying down the boat with Salt-X (properly diluted) and accidentally sprayed my screen. I quickly wiped it off with a soft cloth to find that all the hard water spots had been removed. It does not appear to have damaged the screen. I do not know if all the coating will peal off tomorrow but I would assume it is ok. If you have a badly spotted screen it may be worth a try.

Hey,

I have used hydrogen pyroxide with great results. It will remove all such water spots with no ill effects. At least not on my Garmin and Furuno units.

Windex works just as well for my Garmin 3010C.
