2004 Fountain 38LX with Triple 225's

I've got an '04 38 Fountain LX with triple 225's. They're the Optimax engines and not Verado's. The boat is priced right (It's only got 40 hours on it - lift kept, black hull, no bottom paint) but I've never been out on one before. Does anyone know if the boat has any quirks or have an opinion on the boat itself, good or bad?

I can comment on this boat because I recently looked at one. From what I saw I would rate this boat with any Regulator, Contender, See Vee ext. Fit and finish was excellent, deadrise was steep (23 plus degrees), if I recall it had a stepped hull, and a very sharp entry.

I was left impressed.

Good luck and I don't think that you can go wrong with that hull............especially if you have long runs in choppy water.
