2006 Sea Chaser 2100 WA price check!!!

Hello, I'm thinking of buying a 2100 WA with 225HP 4 stroke Yamaha and aluminum trailer included, they are asking $34500 plus tax/tags. Did anyone in this forum bought a new Sea Chaser 2100WA? if so how much did you pay for it out the door? This boat just have all the basics, bimini top, trim taps and no electronics. Is there any other brand around the same price range that is a better boat? thank you for your help.

if you dont mind i have a suggestion for another boat. i have suggested this boat before. you can get a sea fox 236cc for 30k with 200hp 4-stroke. they do make a 21ft for about 4k less.

You can get the SeaHunts for that price range. I am not familiar with the build quality iof the SeaChaser but I am familiar with the SeaFox. I would not consider the Sea Fox (as suggested above). Too many horror stories and it does not take a marine surveyor to see that some of the issues with this brand are true! Below is a short list of good boats for the money: It helps if we know what it will be used for and how hard you plan to use it.

It will be primarily for fishing in the Chesapeake Bay area and hopefully try wakeboarding if it is possible. I really like Seaswirl Striper but those cost too much for a new one and I can't find a good used one so I went with Sea Chaser. Is Trophy or Sea Chaser better? thank you.

I purchased a Sea Chaser 2100 CC Offshore serise in March of 2006 for the Baltimore Boat show price, 29K with a Yam F150 on it and trailer. Been pleased with boat and ride since. Sea Chasers and built by Carolina Skiff.

My Trophy model 2002 has been very good to me.
I have the 150 Optimax and I love this motor.
A 4 stroke 225hp engine seems big for a 21' WA?? Heavy.
My 150hp gets the boat up on plane in no time and WOT hits 42mph. Cruises great at 3800rpm and 30mph.
How much does the Sea Chaser weigh??
How fast do you want to go??
Optimax is also very fuel efficient.

2004 Sea Chaser 2100 W/A [trim tabs,hydraulic steering,T-Top,Lowrance x18,vhf,Suzuki Dt150,trailer(galv.)disc brakes] 29,689 plus tax.Runs 40mph with 4 adults and gets on place fast with the tabs up.Great boat for the price,looked for 1-2 years.

Thats a good price for that Boat. It sounds like Eds marine floor model with upgrade to 225. I priced one at Eds in April with 200 etc , raido , bimini top and curtains, gal.trailor. $43.000. I think its a good buy. I would upgrade to gal. trailor , If its a road king be carfull. Also that boat has a lot of standard features which are options on a lot of other boats . Good Luck
