Default Just an observation

I am new to this board but I have found some of the advice to be priceless.

I have been around boats my entire life and owned plenty. I still have one which I am looking to sell and move up to a 23 CC; edgewater or sailfish. I have a family so there is a tradeoff made for some luxuries.

I have been reading about the financing and some feedback from the owners about the sailfish, contender (a favorite post of mine so far)etc. This advice seems to come from caring people who have had good and bad experiences. I think anyone just passing through (such as myself) can benefit greatly from reading the posts. You guys truly cover "ALL" angles, positions, and areas of boat building.

I have found the differing opinions really helpful in evaluating what boat to buy and truly informative.

Thanks for all the great posts.

Now 1 question; does anyone have an opinion or own a Edgewater 225cc or 228cc that could give me some feedback on them.

Thanks

Great boats, I think a bit over priced at least in my area (as all boats are), and ride well. Personal experience--no, but if you do a search you'll find a ton of good info.

Edgewater looks to be Yamaha only? What I've learned on this site is that close competitors for Edgewater should be McKee Craft and Scout. Please keep us updated on your search.

Funny, I am planning on looking at Scout this weekend. I understand the 242 is a nice boat.

I will keep you poster what I find out.
