You have that kind of money but rely on a reply post to pick out your 200K rig?
Not Knocking you, I wish i was in the posistion to pick one of those. You cant go wrong with either one in my opinion! I would take the yellerfin though....
SOS
Look into the 39 Sea Vee if you are serious. 100k less than the Venture. 36YF is a great boat but its a 36. YF is coming out w/ a 42 not sure if its an OB CC?

the 42 is a fish around design....rig w/ trips of quads....
You cannot even compare a Yellowfin to a Venture. Just open your eyes.
Yeah the Venture costs more. It costs more to build. You don't hear people going around saying "what's better the Mitsubishi Eclipse or the Lamborghini Mucelago?"
"well the Eclipse cost's $100,000 less". I thought the thread was about the best boat. What do I know....

Ok, I made a mistake. The Eclipse is probably about $250,000 less than the Lamborghini. But the $300,000 question is: what's better, the Lambo or a Venture 39?
What people like best will bring many different points of view. I am a happy 36 Yellowfin owner that has twins some have to have 3 or even 4 motors on the same boat. I am also happy with a full size Lexus. I don't like any boat better than my Yellowfin just like I don't like any car better than my Lexus. Would I be happy with a 39 Venture maybe but I don't like the 34 not for me ( even though it is a nice top notch boat) & the 39 has the same step up the ride I hope is much better. I think even the owner of Yellowfin would have his hair stand up if if took a ride down my path, until you ride with me you have no clue what this boat handles like.

If you score based on the following: Cost, ride, efficiency, speed, finish, quality, looks, workmanship.... Cape Horn 31'. Yes, I've been a Cape Horn buyer for over 10 years. If you go point for point based on the above, Cape Horn wins. The huge overriding factors for me have always been the workmanship and cost. Now, with the new 31' hull, it's all of the above. Will other CC's score higher in some of these categories? Sure. But total the score and IMO, the Cape Horn 31' comes out ahead... that's why I bought one. This is not a put down on Yellowfin, Venture, Contender, etc. etc... they're all great boats.... just my opinion.
Revenge 35. There's no way in hell you could claim Venture, Jupiter, or Yellowfin is built better than a Revenge. Jon Sadowsky, owner of Revenge, uses the same materials and processes that Lockheed Martin/Boeing use to build the $130 million supersonic fighter jet, the FA-22 Raptor. If the stuff can stay together through hell bending turns at Mach 2, there's no wave that will break it apart.
