RE: NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER ISSUES HURRICANE WARNING FOR THE GULF COAST OF FLORIDA
Me, my boat, and my families beach house are right in the bullseye. Not too waorried about wind as much as I am about high tide. Where my boat is (St Marks, Florida) is only three feet above sea level.

Thanks for the good news...I'm about 20 miles south of Crystal River watching the river flow out (for now). The next two high tides should be a little testy.
After the last two years thinking about trading the boat for a tractor and moving inland.

I love how yesterday I was listening to them saying how there was little chance this would become a hurricane because conditions in the gulf were "unfavorable". Said to myself now its a lock this turns into a hurricane.
