Default Outboard Manuals? "Seloc" Yamaha 2-Stroke Outboards

I just got this repair manual and I do not like it at all. It is to broad in the different models they talk about. Can anybody suggest a better brand?

I see your fairly new. If you had done a serch you would have seen post's the said " Do Not Buy a Aftermarket Manual. Only Buy a Factory Manual"

Sorry you wasted you money. You learned the lesson of had knock's. Now call Andy @ SIM for a Factory Manual for your Yamaha.

Even though the Selocs cover many different engine models, you may find that for older engines, there is a lot more explanation and additional info than you will find in the Yamaha shop manuals. I have both for my 1999 motor, and the Yamaha has little to no explanation for most maintenance procedures, its mostly parts diagrams designed for shop guys with real training.

If you like the additional info in the Seloc, you can also get a subscription to their online site. The good part about it is that only your specific engine is covered, so you get all the same info and pics, etc.. without having to flip past all the un-needed info.
