Default 1998 edgewater with twin 130 yamahas questions

wondering if the hull and boat are good, and if the 130 yamahas are enough power for the boat, and if those engines are reliable and efficient, would love to hear some input. thx

If you are asking about the old 26ft it was a great boat. Twin 200 hp would push it about 55 mph.

Edgewater has been making great boats for some time now. Most all reports are very positive. As you know they are similkiar to a Boston Whaler. I would like to know the maximum power for the boat. This figuire times .80 would be the minimum power I would want. IMO, 260 HP would be at the lower limit. Take it for a seatrial in the conditions you will use it and the same load (fuel, people, and equipment). You don't want to be working the throttles all the time to keep a headway when it gets snotty. Good luck, keep us posted, and welcome aboard.
