Default A good leaning post: measurements?

I am looking at a leaning post on eBay - the guy has sold a lot and people are happy with them. I do like to sit some while driving instead of just standing, or when stopped as well.

The actual cushion depth from front to back is 8 inches - does that seem kind of small/skinny, or pretty normal?

8" inches seems skinny to me- but depends on Height or deck spece savings that you get in exchange I suppose

or get one that you can move----I have the Todd telescoping leaning post - not as stylish as some but very functional:

How deep does your cushion measure?

Not sure - I guess it 's not bigger than 9" thought witht the back it makes it feel / seem wider ----so maybe 8" isn't so bad after all-
