Default Removing Cockpit deck on 35' Contender SC (1994)

Has anyone done this? I've got a lot of water coming in throught the transom door and getting below deck. The bilge is on it pretty good and have managed. I want to left off the cockpit deck and apply sealant (as well as some general clean-up/maintence).

1) Have you done this and if so, how did you handle it?
2) I have heard the deck is glassed to the deck stringers (cut?), how are these gotten to to cut?
3) Is there more than just the dozen or so deck screws?
4) finally, what other surprise should I be on the lookout for? and/or what other items should I look to knock-out while I have the deck off?

Nestor, check the contender web site. There are a couple of guys who have dont this work and it seems to have worked out well. I have the same problem but continue to live with it.
The deck is glassed to the stringers but easy to cut out.

FH,

How did you get to the stringers to cut before lifting the deck?
