How long does it take to sell a boat? - The Hull Truth

I realize this is an impossible question, but I am looking for educated opinions here. I HAVE to sell my current rig in order to buy the new one. For timing purposes I would like to sell the boat after the 2007 season ends and befor the 2008 one begins. Based on that time frame when would be the best time to list it?

A stupid answer but it mostly depends on how competitively you price it. If you want top dollar it may take longer.

Now would be the time to sell , when the season is over it seem's there are not too meany people looking to buy at a fair price .

Late spring - summer 2007. Unless you have a super popular model and you want bluebook or close, expect to wait several months and to advertise in a lot of places. If you only want a little more than what your dealer is offering in trade, it may go faster, but a lot has to do with the boat and the area.
