Random Quote: Marriage is a serious commitment...you might be talking about a good 4 or 5 years of your life.
Just wanted to introduce myself. My wife and I live in Northwest Georgia and do most of our boating on the Tennessee River. Been boating and around boats since I was in the single digits. Currently have a 3370 Cruisers Inc., a 17 semi-v Carolina Skiff and Coleman Canoe (if you want to count it), plus miscellaneous blow up stuff.
Been a lurking around a while, but have enjoyed reading the posts and have learned alot. This board is the best I've found. Thought I new a little something about boats but got humbled very quickly.
Not writing very coherently but it's Friday night, long week, adult beverages, hope you understand.
You have paid us all(not to mention W-n-W, the dynamic duo that makes this board possible) the ultimate respect - you ponied up for a CC membership. Welcome and well met.
Enjoy the board and all the benefits, let us know if we can help you w// anything..
PS: I hope your Georgia boys are recovering OK from the ASS WHOOPIN they took from the tigers
Welcome and I mean welcome from a displaced Bama Boy !!!! But if it was me I would keep the comment about quote: plus miscellaneous blow up stuff to yourself ... don't want the others thinking your wierd or anything .............lol.....
sorry I really could not let that one go by !!!!!!!!!!....John
Welcome aboard gaboater! Don't see too many members from your neck of the woods. I've been around boats all my life and I too have been humbled by this forum.
I know it's a little east of you but one of my fondest memories was spending the summer with my grandparents in Helen. They used to drive me into town so I could fish the river that ran behind the main stretch of stores. I always managed to bring home several trout for dinner. Man, those things were suckers for anything that was tipped with corn.
Welcome aboard I too have been around boats since I was knee high, but that obtained knowledge cetainly did not allow me to compete with these guys. Some pretty smart cookies around here.
Congratuations on your wheel. I guess that says it all - first post and you are already a member. Take a bow W n' W.
Enjoy your stay and feel free to enter any tidbits of knowledge along the way.
Thanks for the warm welcome. Gotta go change the oil in the Cruisers and start the winterization process. I hate it, having to put it to bed, so to speak. Hopefully can check in later.
