Default Off season boat projects.....

well..... it's almost too late now, but what did you NOT do to your boat that you had PLANNED to get done during the winter??????

I'll confess to having planned to install more interior LED lights, lights in all lockers and make a new table....... NONE of which were accomplished....

I'm still going!! Look at the link in my signature to see my progress. I don't expect to have time to make a splashboard for the transom notch.

Like you I ended up doing nothing I had planned to do, but it worked out cause I sold it yesterday (I hope). Brought new boat home 2 weeks ago, new list of things I want to do to new boat though is growing longer each day. Oh well.

No, the question was what did you NOT do this winter.

Default RE: Off season boat projects.....

The only thing I did was to repair a seat bottom. Originally it was molded plastic but it had a flaw that resulted in a seperation. I used it as a pattern for a new plywood bottom.

While I was at it, I installed additional carriage bolts and drilled more holes in the mounting base. This will allow me to adjust the distance between the seat and wheel to some degree. I also mounted another fire-extingusher under it. I had one already under the previous captain's chair so this will give me three.

I have other projects on my wish list like re-working the transom area. I may get to them over the summer since I will soon be without a tow vehicle for a while.
