Simpnson Lawrence/Lewmar windlass question

I am planning on outfitting a new 25' Pursuit with a windlass and was told that Pursuit used a Simpson Lawrence model. Did Simpson Lawrence get bought by Lewmar? I can still find the Simpson Lawrence models online but cannot find a company website. It appears that Lewmar is offering a very similar looking model, I'm curious if it is the same exact windlass (Horizon 600 freefall) but just renamed. Any comments on these windlasses would be appreciated. I have used the search function and read quite a bit about everything. Also, if anyone knows if a Maxwell 500 will work on a Pursuit 2460 Denali that would be great, I'm not sure about the room in the anchor locker.

YOu're correct. If you're going for the Horizon, go for the 600. It's all metal, no plastic. Works great!
