I am considering putting my 25' contender side console up for sale and upgrading to a larger boat(there is a nice 31 contender fisharound for sale locally) The broker thinks I can get 28-34k for it. It has 600hrs on a 250 yamaha ss series. The boat is in very good condition. It has a cuddy, bait prep station and enclosure.
Any opionions on how I should price this boat? Contender only made 3-4 of these so it may not be that easy to move.
Hummmm... knowing the YEAR and having pictures would be helpful, more info on the electronics, etc. THT would probably be a good (only?) place to sell your boat for it's true value.. Lots of knowledgeable folks here. Tell us more.
i'd like to see pictures out of curiousity, though i'm not in the market i am a contender fan. i'd think this could be very desirable and have enhanced value due to its scarcity depending on setup/design. thanks
Thanks for the replies. It is a 1996 with a single 250 yamaha on a bracket. OAL is 27'. It has light electronics, a standard horizon gps chartplotter, Standard Horizon VHF, Jensen Stereo, Raymarine Depthfinder.
I believe contender made 3-4 boats with this setup. It is like a regulator express although the cuddy is flush with the deck and there is more cockpit room.
Not sure how to post pictures on this site. I can e-mail a picture to anyone who is interested.
Seasalt... enough! You will get lots of member advice and lots of member interest to follow, but if you want to advertise your boat... Out of respect for this excellent web site please buy a wheel. Tom.
Great boat, thanks for the pic, never seen one of those before, if i hadn't bought a 23 CC Cont last year i would be knocking on your door (want to trade?). if you decide to sell i'm thinking mid to upper 30's. get a pic on the trading doc and you won't keep it long.
