fishing on vancouver island?

Anyone have any suggestions for fishing guides on Vancouver Island, specifically the Tofino Area?

The popular thing to do out of Tofino is fly fishing for coho (silver) salmon which is a blast btw. There is one big operator, Weigh West and then a handful of independent guides. If you want to run offshore for the bigger salmon & halibut there is a pretty good operation in Ucluelet called Island West and Canadian Princess Lodge runs some party boats out of there for rockfishing. You may also find an offshore operator in Tofino if you search a bit. Great little corner of the planet up there.

For flyfishing Weigh West has a great operation. June through September are best with July and August ideal. However, last year was worst year in long time......... hope they show up this year. For offshore fishing, (Chinook, Coho and Halibut) you can use Weigh West as well. They have a good website and are helpful over the phone if you want info......
