Got a windlass? I thint this is one of my projects for 06 - look at the 150 and the 500 models....I espeailly like if you anchor in your favorite cove and know you need 35 feet out, it does it and stops automatically at 35 feet. Further, if you've got 200 feet out, it'll bring up 190 feet and then alert you that it's getting near...and then you manaully resume it...$450 cost....

The small, simple counter is all I would go with and even that is pricey @ $350. Ahh the pleasure of boat gadgets......nice toys though.
