Default Workshop Manual Yamaha 115 hp 4 stroke

I wish to know if anyone of you have a workshop manual for a Yamaha 115 hp four stroke.

I have run into some problem with mine ( bought Sept 2004 - done 285 hours ) - currently it has no "power" even when in WOT - can't even get the boat ( 5.3 aluminium CC ) on the plane.

Looks to be a problem with the spark plugs - two ( 2 & 4 ) of them are "firing", whilst the other two ( 1 & 3 ) is not.

Any assistance / advice will be most appreciated.

There was a seller on eBay selling a CD with almost all the manuals for something like 1997 - 2005. I bought one for about $15. You might search eBay for "Yamaha manual".

I have a Merc 115 4 stroke which uses a Yamaha powerhead, it might be in limp home mode, either oil pressure, over heated, or bad sensor or ?,

Two of the spark plugs ( #2 and #4 - connected to bottom ignition coil assembly ) are "firing" whilst the other two spark plugs are not ( #1 & #3 - connected to top ignition coil assembly )

We suspect the top ignition coil assembly to be faulty but need to verify to be sure.

Can someone with access to the following information kindly provide some data - I would like to know the correct resistanace value that should be across the ignition coil and the correct resistance values across the injectors?

Thank you in advance for the data.

I have a brand new factory manual that I bought on THT for about $45 when I was considering buying a boat with that motor. I did not buy the boat, so the manual is yours for $20 + 4.00 priority mail. Let me know, will ship out ASAP if you need it.

check the cyls that you know are working and ignition coil resistance compare to one that is not. is it possible/easy to switch ciols? injectors, pull connectors and check resistance between 2 terminals all 4 should read close to same dont forget to check secondary(plug) wire resistance

i checked with customer relations for yamaha in australia - yes - my engine is under warranty till 2006/05/24 - so does that mean i get the fault fixed and parts FOC???.

we have narrowed the faulty down to the "top" ignition coil - can hear a "leaking" sound and you get "zapped" if you touch the #4 cable near the joint.
