I have two boats currently and I'm selling one of them. They are both 209 grady white CC 's but they are on different trialers. One is on a Galvanized Pacific Trailer and one on a Aluminum McClain trailer. I just purchased the one with the McClain trailer and I've never heard of them They are both tandem axle trailers with disc brakes and are both 2004 bunk trailers. which one is better quality or worth more? I appreciate the knowledge as I want to keep the best one.
SWC, I also have a Pacific trailer ,it's in my sig., aluminum is lighter but........... all the parts that do the heavy work are steal, axel's, toung, wheels, and hardwear.
If both are taken care of they will each last a long time.

McClain trailers are based here in Houston. It seems every boat sold here comes on a McClain. They are pretty decent trailers. I would definitely choose aluminum no matter the brand. The other consideration is if they are both torsion trailers versus springs. Torsions definitely trailer much better.
