32' hatteras express

anyone have any experience with early 80's 32' hatteras express? Trying to decide between express and conv. models around 33' going to concentrate on bertrams and hatteras.

Express: easier to check baits
Conv: more space for family to ride in comfort, have to go up and down ladder.

It depends on what you plan on doing with the boat. I am partial to convertable models due to the larger, more comfortable cabin. If you get an express, you are forced to get a tower to make it fishable helm shade... more cost and maintenance. Try the Tiara 33 flybridge, I have fished one and liked it alot, great cockpit and solid as a rock.
