Who has added a custom belly hoop or small tower?

So I now have my new boat and I am thinking of adding a belly hoop or small tower to the hard top. I don't want dual station controls - my auto pilot remote up top will do just fine for my purpose - which is simply to gain a better view while searching for signs of fish.

I hope to have something designed that would well match the existing lines of the boat and the existing half tower support structure. Anyone out there already been through this and willing to post pictures? I'm looking for design ideas to work with.

My boat is an 04 28' Carolina Classic.

It's not a hardtop. but it is a fully collapsable sight tower that may give you some ideas.

Thanks. That is the sort of thing I'm thinking about - except I don't need the fold down capability. I'm also wondering about designing in a seat and a small top for shade. Did you have that made? If so, about how much did it cost?

take a look at the website for Bluewater boats. They show most of their models with an optional "crows nest" on the T Tops. That might give you some ideas.
