Yamaha 200hp... OX66 or V Max HPDI

I’ve finally decided on my boat (Blazer Bay 2220) and at least decided on the horsepower rating (200), but not sure which way to go from here. I would appreciate any feedback on the V Max OX66 and the V Max HPDI. There’s an 830.00 difference for the HPDI and Yamaha has a promotion of a 2+3 years on their warranty for it compared to a 2+1 on the OX66.

The OX 66 motors are great (I have one) but for only 830.00 I'd take the HPDI in a minute. Espcially with the better warranty, economy and re-sale, I expect. The OX 66 is just about phased out entirely.

I would have to agree with you there GW. At $830 the choice would be a no-brainer but I thought the price difference would be more in th $2k-3k range?
