Do you have any specific questions? This is the 2nd time I've offered to help you specifically, on 2 separate threads. You did not take me up on the first offer for real info....

Hi PC, I was under the impression you have already made up your mind. Scratch provide the link to the review that TG did. It is a comprehensive review on the boat.We both have the same boat you are looking at. My hull is a little older but it still looks new.

Along with TG, I would be happy to answer any questions for you.

In a nutshell:

Pros: Construction, Durability, Ease of Cleaning, Fuel Capacity, Rod Holders, Price, Fishing Room
Cons: No Frills, No Flash, Minor stuff like(hatches on Fish box too small, batteries need to be in console)

Make sure you get overkill on the trailer. This sucker is heavy.

I have a 2005 24 Cape Horn Offshore. It is the most stable boat I have ever been on. I describe it as a Tank with air ride. I bought it after going on a fishing trip 100+ miles offshore on my friends 27 Cape Horn. Everything is heavy duty and you will need a heavy duty trailer. They are fantastic boats!

THe only problem I see on this, and other Cape Horns, is their gas milage. Not that it is real bad, but the step hulls on boats like Fountain 25's compare more favorably if memory serves me right.

You know I don't like to post unless its life or death, and the poster is asking about a 24 which I consider an excellent hull and value. My CH19 has some design flaws that you won't see on the larger model.
