Just $ a Key West 216 BayReef. I'm very happy with the way they put it together. Alot of extras come standard. I'm not sure of the model your looking at,but Key west seems to have a good rep. I bought this boat unseen. Just read and asked alot of owners. seems to be alot better than some salesman BS.

Here's a 2003 model. The owner bought it near the end of last season and is very happy with it. He just needs to add more water to enjoy it more often! Key West Bluewater 20'W/A

i think those pictures are of a larger Key West.. it appears this boat is a 21 or 23 WA.. But the Key West line of boats are top quality, top notch and ranked #2 in JD powers survey this year,, A wise choice of boats..

Thanks for the reply I was not sure either of it's size but thought with the honda130 it must be a 2020wa because overthere nobody seems to drive a boat bigger than that with "only" 130hp glad you toke the time to awnser .

20 Wa Pro-Line has alot of standard features and I believe it is a very good riding boat. And you can get a factory installed kicker motor.

yes,
but I'am expanding the keywest is falling off because it can't have a kicker engine and gas cost 5 to 6 dollar a gallon overhere I maybe have a shot at the seahunt 215 wa or the new seapro 206 walkaround if Ican figure out the REAL weight for towing not like aboat thats folder says weight 1500lbs and really weight is1800# .Read some topics on this and can't afford this kind of "mistakes".
any imput will be welkom already get great help on the seahunt wa.
greetings from holland.
marti
BTW sometimes it's the otherway around like 2500lbs and real is 2250 but I only read this and maybe soon I can confirm it.

I have a 2002 KW 1900cc with a yammy 115 4 stroke. It's a decent boat and I'd buy another. So far not a problem.

My buddy just relocated to Arizona from the n. east and he has a 2020 KW W/A with a Honda 130hp 4 stroke with 10 hours on the motor. I've been on the boat and it's really nice, and well made.

Since he moved he's got to sell the boat for a substantial loss.

Gas$$$ - with a 4 stroke you don't have to worry too much. I spend ~$150 for the season on gas with my 4 stroke and put >100 hours per season on it.

Here are the performance numbers for the 20' Pro-line according to the site:
20 WALK
ENGINE MPH
Honda 130 4-Stroke 33 - 35
Honda 200 4-Stroke *
Mercury 150 38 - 40
Mercury 150 OPTI 39 - 40
Mercury 200 45 - 47
Mercury 200 OPTI *
Yamaha 200 4-Stroke *
* not tested

I am a fan of Pro-line. After all I have owned two. I think they are good values and have layout features (for example nice/safe walkarounds)that seperate them from other production boats. I cannot compare the two brands because I do not have any personal experience with either brands 20' models. Good luck!

hallo,
well guys thanks for the reply:
FIRE FLY: can you get me some pictures of your buddy's boat and how is it equiped??isn't it to heavy with the honda I think I maybe can do without the kicker. But does the self bailing outlets stay above water.ask his price please and send it on the forum or direct to me(if you can spare the time).
B- FAITHFUL(nice name btw) I have surged every topic, webside, dealerside, boatscomside ,there is but I think there is just not info on them .You know how it is you don,t buy a boat
for a week and when you live in europa you can't just go and see.First you have to find out what you want/can tow/can pay/how it looks well etc etc then fly over buy the boat and have a vacation to break it in so you have to find a reliable?? dealer to.
Somebody can tell SVENSKI I putted?? a topic on the board with his name as subject 2x if he hasn't seen it or don't have the time to respond (maybe doesn't want it) let me know please.
Was a very long topic but I can go on.
greetings from holland.

I'll see if I can get you a picture. Looked on the web and only found this:

http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...UTF-8%26sa%3DG

I don't know if the motor is too heavy BUT when I have been on the boat we never had any water thru the self bailing scuppers.

I'll get an exact price for you but it's in the $22k range with trailer. If you are interested I can get you in touch with him.

Anyway if you know anything about the boat like cabin(sleeping)dimensions and gear and pictures I will be a happy guy and who knows when I arranged transport I will be more than happy to try and buy it.
BTW:been on the kenyonwebside(while ******and if you saw the picture you know rightaway what I mean.

tanks DIAMONDDAVE but I have mailed them and got an email adress from them and asked the questions
like how much speed to get from a 140 4 stroke
and got the awnser about 48 to 50 mies an hour.
Now this can be a mistake but I mailed them back and asked if they didn't make a mistake and 2weeks later mailed the same mail etc etc not a word again.
I try to do my part but if they don't come up with the numbers what more can I do.Maybe they expect??me to fly a couple of 1000 miles to take a look?Think ones when I buy it should be enough. SERVICE BLEEE!@%^#
Anyway thanks for reading this(have toget it out of my system) Iam busy with seahunt215 and found a decent?? men who is willing to help me and can get me on the way.The kicker part was nice DD I din't know that either.
GREETINGS FROM HOLLAND.

I have a 1987 Proline 21 WA. My neighbhor had a 21-ft Key West of the same year.

Things I like about the ProLine....it has a full height transom and a stand-off engine bracket which makes my 21 foot boat act more like a 23-ft boat. The Key West gives up some deck space with a "false" transom so you can tilt up the motor. Also, the ProLine with the full height transom tends to block a lot of the engine noise compared to the Key West.

Something I like better about the Key West...All the trim on it is plastic...doors, hatches, frames, etc. My ProLine has Teak trim which looks nice, but isn't nearly worth the trouble to keep it looking nice in Florida/Georgia.

I run my ProLine with a 225HP Evinrude that weighs 450 lbs. My neighbor had a 200 HP Johnson which also weighed 450 lbs...the only difference between them was the carburetors.

We both ran about 35 mph at cruise, and I could top out at 42 mph and the Key West topped out at 40 mph.

Of course, keep in mind that I'm talking about 16 year old boats and motors here....things may have changed in that time.

marti, maybe I can help a little. With a 130 Honda 4 stroke, you can expect around 33-35 mph at top end. You will cruise at about 28 mph.I will try to answer any other questions if you will post them.
