Default Need a quality boat cover

I need a quality winter boat cover for a 2000 Grady 228 with hardtop, no bow pulpit.
Can anyone steer me in a good direction?

Try coversearch.com. They advertise on THT.

got mine at coversearch,, it took 2 complete weeks but when it arrived it was top notch,, fit pretty good.. The best of course is the custom cover done by the local canvas shop.. But when i priced my Key West 23WA, the local guys was $900, coversearch was $210.. ...There is a obvious difference ,but its worth the savings..

3 words- Have one made. You won't regret it like I did my internet purchase for my 23' W/A. The online ones may be ok for a small simple boat. The experience with mine is that you don't get all the equipment such as support poles or help with placement. There is nobody there to help with problems, the stitching has come loose after 1 1/2 years and the abrasion resistance material sux. Mine is a top of the line custom sunbrella $800 cover that I later learned was only about $200 cheaper than a "real" custom cover made locally. By the way, welcome to the forum.

Are you going to trailer it? If you want it to hold up and last a very long time, have it made with TOP GUN or other name brand material like it.

After purchasing mine I'd have to say you get a quality custom canvas cover from Fisher Canvas. They do make a very nice cover but it's very heavy. It will take two people to get it up on the hard top so you can unroll it over the boat. I am very satisfied with mine. I have only one complaint. I ordered mine in March of 2005 with a delivery date of September 15th. I started calling them on the 15th of September and got all sorts of excuses for not shipping. The cover didn't arrive till November 6th. They are extremely busy but they should have just been up front with me. So, if you want your cover by a certain date then make sure you set up a date that is about a month ahead of when you really want it.

Here's some pictures of my 2005 Trophy 2052 with extended hard top with the cover installed:

You can get their information here: Fisher Canvas Products
