Default So I bought a m-y wedge (universal, single ram model) for motor support while trailering...

...but I haven't used it yet. (It was $29.95 or so plus shipping, and it got here fast!) This is the universal, hard rubber model that slips onto engines with a single tilt ram, which I plan to use to support my Merc 90 Saltwater while trailering. Although the standard model for two ram engines has been discussed, I haven't seen much on the adviseability of the model for smaller engines with single rams like mine. I was hoping to have some opinions. There is some mention in the instructions about not using it if the engine has a plastic housing for the ram casing, BTW. I haven't had the chance to check my engine to see if that is the case with mine. Anyway, would a section of 4x4 be a better idea than using this device? Thanks for any replies!

I use one of these wedges also for my 150 Merc. Seems to position the engine just right. I like using it more that the factory engine stop.

Can one of you tell me where I can see these, or where I can buy one? Thanks
