Went last year to make a final comparison before my purchase. Really is a great show. This year I plan to hit only the Miami International Show in mid-Feb, unless.............

Which show is better if you can only do one, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. I went to Lauderdale about 10 years ago, huge show, is Miami any bigger or better?

I've been to the last two years of both shows and feel IMHO the Ft. Lauderdale show is much more enjoyable. Plan on going again this year just not sure what days

More "out-of-towners" and mega-yacht companies visit the Miami Show. I prefer the Ft. Lauderdale Show myself.

Remember to take a cab. From the Hollywood area it's $15 each way. Parking was $20, so for an extra $10 bucs you get door to door service!

I like going to Boat Shows almost as much as I like reading THT....almost [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img]. I live in the Fort Lauderdale area so going to the FTL or Miami show is no big deal for me. I like the Fort Lauderdale Show better than the Miami show, just seems to be better organized. If you go to the show at the Convention Center, you can take the Water Taxi to the other parts of the show for about $8 if I remember correctly. Parking near the Bahia Mar can be difficult at best.

Any plans to try and gather in one place for an hour or so? It's always nice to put faces to names, and swap lies.
