Default Sea Boss 19 Bay

Ok, folks. I need some help quickly. I'm about to purchase a new 2006 Sea Boss 19 Bay. This certainly isn't my first boat so I do know some stuff about boats. What I really want to know is Sea Boss worth it? The price seems to be extremely reasonable considering other brands. I know that Sea Boss are formerly Sea Pros and that both are now owned by Brunswick. What 'cha say - Sea Boss GOOD or BAD!!!
thx...

GOOD! Having spent two seasons on a friends Sea Boss 210CC, I would say go for it. For the money it is hard to beat. We have made about 8 trips offshore about 30-35 miles on nice days, and the ride was suprisingly dry. It does pound a bit in seas above 4 feet, but then it is a very light boat. After two years of pretty rough use, neither the hull or cap have any stress cracks or issues. He is running a 150 Johnson, which has been flawless also, but with Brunswick now being the parent company, Merc's are all that are available. The way I see it, Sea Pro was smart to take the molds that have paid for themselves many times over and offer an economical, proven package to the fisherman on a tight budget.

Sea Boss's are built the old fashion way. By Hand. 3610 stich glass is used through-out the hull. It is 50% stronger that 24 oz. glass but weights only 7 oz. providing a lighter yet stronger boat. It also translates into better fuel economy. The 1900 is a great riding hull that is also very stable. Good luck with your new boat!
