Re: Cummins Diamond Edition 315 hp The 5.9l Cummins has had some issues in the early 90's. I am pretty sure thay were all cleared up by the time the 315 diamond came out.
The Experts over at Boatdiesel will ask you for the CPL numbers. Surprise them, and have it ready.
These numbers will tell them exactly what engine you have, what went into it, and what updates have been done.
It is not unheard of for a seller to claim to have engines that are better than what they really have. The 315 is generally considered to be good and reliable.
The CPL will tell what they really are..
