I noticed the hardtop on your boat in your sig picture. I like the clean uncluttered lines and rounded sides. Can you give me any info ? I have a 22 Tiara pursuit and think it would look perfect. The admiral hates the sun also.

Byram, I believe Tom's hardtop is just a standard Albemarle hardtop..

Tom should be around soon.

Byram, Thanks for the kind words about the boat. That is an “old style” hardtop that Albemarle used. They switched over to the newer style in the early '90s I believe. Check out Capt Dan’s thread in the photo forum “Albe heading out” to see the “new style”.

Someone who could help is Layton Boat Works, a firm in Edenton that works on Albe’s. Carlton Layton was a shop foreman at Albemarle for something like 25 years and knows them inside out like few people. His son also worked for Albemarle for many years. Their phone number is 252-482-1504 I expect they know where you could get one and are always willing to talk.
