Default THT'ers at Lake Lanier

The inaugural THT Lake Lanier get together was held today...

From L to R - Bokat's 23 GW Gulfstream, HLud's blue boat, the "Double Trouble", and JupiterEdge's Edgewater. Bob from Bob's Cay was kind enough to provide his dock as the host, although his 204 GW missed a photo op as it was parked on the other side of the dock.

A great time was had by all, including Buddy and Jake (the two first mates/boat dogs in attendance.) It was also an educational experience...we learned that Bokat's overheating alarms will announce his arrival, and that JupiterEdge (Jim) started his Christmas list today

Thanks to Bob for the use of your dock.

Harv I hope you'll forgive me....I have no idea who the manufacturer of your boat is. I do know that you will likely be scheduling a "teak oiling party"...judging by the amount of wood on that boat. Its a great looking rig

Nice picture. I lived in Alpharetta for about three years in the late 80's...Lanier is a nice lake and I remember it being crowded then, can't imagine what it must be like now...

Brian, my boat ( blue hull) was made by Seaway Boats in Maine in 2003 and it is their Seafarer 21' model powered by a 2004 Suzuki 115 HP 4 stroke. It was real nice to meet you and the rest of THT group on Lake Lanier. Harvey

Me too, but in late 70's/early 80's and it was crowded then.

Can you still find a quiet cove? Usually the go fast just run the main channel.

Try logging out of THT...clearing your cookies and your cache, and log back in...should fix it.
