Removing Gas Stains from Hull

I had my boat at the shop for about 1 1/2 weeks with them trying to figure out the problem my Honda had blowing the tilt trim fuse. I think they took my boat out a test cruise. The reason is that I think they overfilled the gas tank. It has been really hot here and ever since I got the boat back, in the heat of the day; I have been having gas coming out of the fuel vent on the side of the hull. It has left some pretty noticeable stains below the vent. I have tried a 50/50 mix of water and bleach and some toilet bowl cleaner. Anybody know of something that works great on gas stains?? simply green, castrol superclean but idk how safe that would be on the gelcoat
