Default Norwalk Boat Show

Anyone have a chance to get to the show? What did you think of the Southport, Everglades, and Regulator 29? That Everglades sure is well thought out, for a price.

Got a real good look at all three yestereday. The Southport 28 is a real winner, lots of room (unlike the 26) and good build quality. The Everglades Pilot house is tiny to the point of being non-functional. A big boy like me 6' 230lbs found it a tight fit. The Regulator 29 is pure Regulator, will be a great addition to the line.

BTW Kudos to the Southport reps, very knowledgeable and not in my face like the Everglades team.

I also got a good look at the Pursuit 3480 CC and 3480 Denali.......I changed my mind on the Denali, there probably is a market - more room than I would have thought based on the pictures......that center island is not a major obstruction.

BlackLab Marine - that is one impressive boat - don't think you could dent it with a sledgehammer! Very nice lines - serious fishing machine but god help you if you have to convince an Admiral, women and aluminum are not a good combination.

Do you check out the water skiing squirrel.

I'm working at the show (I actually get to stare at the Soutports all day) and they are sharp boats. The Everglades pilot house is intriguing. Where is Blacklab? I saw a truck, and I went out looking for them, but I didn't see the boats. I wanted to take a look at them.

Blacklab is in the water same dock, opposite side of the Pursuit Denali 3480. You can't miss that beast of a boat! They are giving away the inch sqaure hull cross sections, very cool.

Sorry to disagree but my Admiral loved it so much she put her name on it

Agree with all of the above- was there yesterday- had a great time and spent too much money and I didn't even buy a boat. I tried to catch up with the guy wearing the blue THT tee shirt (mine was in the wash ) but missed him. Who was it that was around the waterskier at 4PM Saturday?

A good show. Agree on the Southport. Was a little dissapointed that Whaler only had one W/A at 23'. The next boat up with a cabin was the 31' foot monster they came out with this year.
