Default Bean Bag weight?

Everyone says you can throw a couple of these on the ttop.

But how much does a Target or Searider with a back approximately weigh?

Do they get heavier with use on boats?

My Target bean bag weighs very little (3-4 lbs?). Not sure if it will gain weight as it ages.

I have had my eseariders for about 2 years and don't think they have gained weight. They probaly weigh about 10 lbs each. The only problem that we have had with them is when it is rough and windy they sometimes role off the ttop, but they float and do not take on water. They are wounderful to ride in, if it is not too rough you can easily fall asleep in them.

My el cheapos from Target weigh almost nothing but they will gain wt. on the rare occasion they get wet. I then leave them out for a couple on hrs. on a hot summer day and problem solved.

We use a big bungee cord to keep them on the top. Doesn't seem to affect radar operation either

I use the cheap ones, usually 2 and sleep to and from the canyons even when it gets a little bumpy. When not in use I put them in the center-console.

Oh, it's just Bullshipper asking about bean bag weight...since he lives in Mexico he naturally assumed the bags were filled with frijoles which would be heavy. But, Bull, these bags are filled with foam from the styro bean. Quite light.

And living in Mexico filling up on Barito's all day long, would explain why he is worried about them gaining weight!!

Not that at all. Its more a question of dynamic loads corerelating with hydrogen embitterment bolt torques.

In other words, will the ttop take the load from these beaners in a beam sea, while scarfing buritos and beers ??

Yes as long as your not sitting in them, scarfing burritos and beer while they are on your t-top.....if you try that all bets are off

When you have a 2+ hour ride to the stream and back to fish, people sleep on bean bag chairs. I use the cheapos from Wally World 2 for 19.99 and they are on their 3rd season. The problem is what to do with them when you are fishing. You toss them on top of the T-top, when you are ready to go home. There is a small game of Junk and Po, and 2 people lay down and zonk out for 2 hours.

Just used my el cheapo Target bags the other day for the first time. The ladies wanted to go for a ride and sit up front on the fishing platform. They worked great, the girls said they were very comfortable. I actually got them to use on other boats since I can seat 5 under the hardtop without them.

Sorry Bull, didn't answer the question Don't know if they get heavier, guess they would if they absorbed water.
