Default I received this email from a friend of a friend that works for Mercury

Dear Gentlemans, Our plan to fool the American public has worked. The giant Verado has tricked many buyers into putting this Godzilla sized engine on there boats. Our sales of the Verado the is ereven times our forcast. We will destroy the Nipp, I mean Japanese like we did at Pearl Hardor. Even though the Japanse engines are far superior in design, technology and operation becasue the Japanese are smarter and work harder than, us, lazy Americans, the Verado will take over the outboard motor empire like the rising sun. Our plan is almost complete, the foolish Americans are buying our gas guzzling tecronogically inferior Verado engine. The day is ours.

Seserely,

The Man who run Mercury

Looks like someone is trying to stab Godzilla in the chest, possibly with a bent arsed fly gaff.

Lunch was delicious by the way..thanks for asking..

I hate that I have to do this, as it will take away from yet another master piece by your's truly. Now, first, we need to understand satire here. I do not want you to eat the children.... are we clear here? Ok, so first, we have had a number of folks coming to this sacred site making wild claims and posting supposed secret emails from major boat mfg's. So, you can see the foundation. I am making fun of them. Now, add to this, the stereotype of the evil Japanese business man "planting" a fake letter supposedly from his competition. Then add the scam emails many of us get from foregin countries with humorous abuses of the english language while trying to pretend they are something they are not.

A full plate of satire indeed....and using spell check would have negatively affected the spirit of this peice...I hope you can forgive me...

Now, since I had to explain this.......it has lost nearly two-thirds of its humor, relegating it to the level of Bullshipperesque material...again please forgive me....
