31 sportfish fountain vs31 tounament ed. fountain

i'm looking at these 2 boats. both are open bows.the sportfish has twin 225 opti max99 year models. the tourny has 250s efi 97 year models. all other features are the same.sportfish is 1996 tourny is 1997 hulls.my question is are they built different?

Neither boat has an 'open bow", they both have cubby cabins. They are very different in how they ride. The older Sportfish helm is way forward and you will take a pounding up there in high seas ....... more so than on a 31 TE.
