there is a dealer at the marina where I keep my boat. the 30 rampage is a nice looking boat with a beautiful cabin. I have not run the boat but there is a review article that compares it to the big Grady (the 33 if I remember correctly) and the other competition like a pursuit and a couple of others. I think it is one of the articles that grady puts up on their web site as reviews of their boats. naturally the Grady got yhe best review but they had praise in this article for the rampage. If I was looking for a 30 inboard with a nice cabin the rampage would be at the top of the list. http://www.gradywhite.com/magazine_r...s.Feb.2004.pdf

I dont know the year of the boat you are looking at but the 1990 volvos were replaced with twin diesel yanmars. The boat is unreal it is a battlewagon.

Just looked at it today at the AC boat show. They didn't have the express model (my choice), but all told they said about $220K with everything, tower, gen, AC etc. Seems like a great boat, but I couldn't trial it today. Seems only WC was able to go out (I went w/the admiral and pop on the 330te). I can't believe they packed the boats so tight you couldn't demo a boat. Why have it in water then? Love looking at the boats I can't afford though. Good luck in you responses, I'd love to hear what people have to say about the 30'.

Thanks for the input. Tweiss.. I am trading or selling in a 263 Chase center console 2001. Compark,, the 30' express sounds like a great deal from what I was expecting looking at the msrp. I was going toward a 300 Grady Marlin, price on options in my view is a bit expensive compared to what I can get it for in a simple comsumer marine electronics catalog. Tweiss, do you know if the 30' Rampage included any electronics? The Marlin price was a whopping 225K minus my trade in. I needed a website like this one for my research, thanks fellows!

225K!

Where are you looking at GWs? You should be able to get a fully rigged Marlin for 200K or less.

Just came back from a look at the Rampage 30 foot. THEN I noticed a 33' Rampage in the water. Place was not open but I could not resist asking a boat owner on the dock if he thinks it will be ok to go on board. WOW what a boat. This would be my final chioce if I could only afford it! Anyone know how much this boat will sell for. (+or-)? Must be around a 12 foot beam. My wife is gettin worried now Any information on this one would be greatly apprecited.

Sprink: 33' Rampage with gas engines is over $250,000. Diesel will cost much more.

If you buy one of these boats used, expect to find electronics. If you are buying new and can afford this type of boat, I think they expect you to have an idea of what type electronics that YOU would like to have installed.

I have an interest in the Rampage 30WA that is based on the Shamrock Grand Slam hull. To get one with all the goodies and with diesel engines will set ya back a penny or two.

you are right the options add up plus tax and electronics and you wind up with a big number far north of what my sphincter can stand. at those prices the carolina classic 32 , albemarle, luhrs and topaz and others would all have to be looked at by me

I have a 2004 38' Rampage with 510 HP cats. She has 275 Hours, and is loaded with options, and electronic equipment. I love my boat, but I want to buy a 54' Custom Donzi which is for sale. If you have any interest let me know.

So...., Does anyone have any more information, feedback, thoughts, issues with the Rampage 30 WA?

The pricing seemed great on the new ones last year for what was included stock at the dealer. Basically add the electronics and go!
