The 11 foot Boston Whaler with a 25 hp Merc will cost between $11,000 and $11,500. If you wanted one with a 15 hp, I would think that you would pay about $1,000 less. However I suspect that you would be very unhappy with the 15hp. It is not enough hp to plane the boat with anymore than one large person, or two light people.

As noted the BW are not cheap boats. They are also not all that good dinghies, because of the weight and ride. (Just a personal opinion--for less money you can get one of several other boats, or a real good RIB)

The max HP on a new 11' is 15 HP. Now, don't take me wrong..............
