The bull shark is a very dangerous animal because it hunts in shallow water where people like to fish and swim. One can be attacked in three feet of water and just be gone.

Re: 300# bull shark caught off a dock at local marina!!!
FWIW, I think that’s a lemon shark, not a bull. The shark in the picture has two dorsal fins of nearly equal size, and the teeth in the upper jaw are long and narrow. Bull sharks have a second dorsal much smaller than the first dorsal, and the teeth in the upper jaw are triangular. Forgive me for picking details, it’s still a big shark to have swimming under your feet when your launching your boat. chip.
Re: 300# bull shark caught off a dock at local marina!!!
About 4 years ago a guy just a few fingers away from our house (St. Pete Beach, Fl)was killed by a Bull Shark. This guy swam in the ICW behind his house for 20 some years and never had a problem. Then one day he jumped in for his normal daily swim just as a feeding frenzy started and the shark got him. I don't believe that they ever caught the shark, several boats when out to try and catch it but to no avail. Sense then I tend to stick to our pool.
Re: 300# bull shark caught off a dock at local marina!!!
I bet there are many more of those around than we realize, I'd rather swim offshore than in the inlets and beaches. There was a big bull in Pamlico sound a few years ago that kept getting caught in fishermans nets, probably many more that are smart enough to stay out of the nets too.

Forgive me for a minute; but what takes place at cleaning tables?
So now if you're fishing for sharks how do you attract them? Dern Lemon shark, Bull shark heck Cleatus I thought it was a Great White; ain't too smart no count, dern thing didn't even know them fish carcasses were for the pelicans. The really big one's probably a Jew fish.
