Default Add on Tackle Drawer Compartments

I am looking for a 3 or 4 drawer add on tackle compartment with hatch (to mount in my Center Console), looking for one that holds the largest clear plastic Plano tackle boxes possible. Have seen the Bomar brand, Rabud brand, and the SSI brand. I remeber reading about another brand of tackle drawer that was very heavy duty and held possbily larger boxes. Any input, ideas or links are appreciated. Also if you own any brand of compartment would appreciate feedback on your likes and dislikes about it.

Thanks

Make sure the compartment is integral with the hatch frame. I installed one with a drop-in liner ... which also drops out in rough conditions.

Contact Brown at FinAddict. He made one for me similar to what you are talking about.

Cabellas offers a good deal on these, and also lists all the Plano box numbers and dimensions that go with them, which is quite extensive.

I bougth the largest 4 drawer unit they offered and it uses tray boxes that measure about 13.5" X 10" x 3" each, if I recall right, and I believe it was around $120.

The install was simple, I can find these boxes anywhere, and am satisfied with the product.

www.cabelas.com , I think.

I purchased a Teak Isle 4-drawer tackle locker that I never installed in my CC. If I remember right, it has two double-height and two standard-height boxes. These boxes are slightly wider than the Plano boxes you will find at XXMart, and slide into the locker on rails that are built into the box.

I'm looking to sell it, PM me if you are interested and I can give you more specifics.
