A little birdy told me that Scout will be introducing a new 23' walkaround cuddy model very very soon? Anyone have pics?

Yeah, I think I heard that here on the forum previously. Unfortunately, it will be styled after their god-awful 28 footer (just kidding, lol).

The rep at a show in Feb told me that they were building a cuddy based on their 23 Center Console. If it's anything as nice as that, it should be a really nice boat. I'm not to familiar with Scouts, but they look REALLY nice and well made.

I have been checking the Scout site for months, but haven't seen or heard anything. I am very intersted though.

and two years after the boat comes out, you still won't see anything about it on their website...

And you can email them with questions about any of their boats and they will not get back to you.

Not only did they e-mail me back with the questions I had in regards to the 202SF, they also sent me two free shirts, a polo and a t-shirt. They were very helpful!

Maybe the bag of cash that I sent to them to make up for the lack of overcharging on their boat pricing had something to do about it, lol (kidding)

Lacy, I have contacted Scout numerous times through their website and they have always been responsive to me. In fact, they sent me pre-release pics of the Bay Scout 22 which I promptly posted on this forum (before you joined) with the help of Ed P.

I have emailed Scout on 4 occasions regarding questions about a local dealer, Several questions about the Dorado 202 as well as the Sportfish 202. I never received a response. Thankfully, I was able to get questions answered from a dealer in RI, but still can get Crosby Marine in Osterville to call be back about the Dorado 202 in stock with the f200 on the back

LACEY,

My local Scout dealer may have a 202 Dorado in stock, but I'm not sure if it has an F200 on it?

E-mail me if you want me to find out and get a price for you.

Try calling Nelson Jacobs (think he's a Regional Sales Manager for Scout). They are a pretty laid back company (NOT non-caring - just laid back!) and don't always respond in a timely fashion. I'll admit they need to improve on that! NO ONE should have to contact a manufacturer FOUR times! If you get Nelson, let him know about the unresonsiveness - they need to FIX IT!

Regards,

I work for a Scout dealer in Orlando and the rumor is true. Scout will be introducing a 23' walk around based on their 235 center console hull.

It surprises me to hear Scout did not return any e-mails from Lacey. We carry several brands of boats and Scout is by far the most customer service based company I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with.
