98 Wellcraft 240SE/2400 Martinique?? Hi all - Grady White's wife here - hoping for some help and advice*on a boat we are looking at quite seriously!* With the second baby on the way, we found that we will need to get a little more comfort and possibly a little less fishability (to my husband's dismay).* With this, we want to stay with around a 24 foot boat.* Going online, we found the Seasport, then checked into some Bayliners and today I came across the Wellcraft 240SE (looks the same as the 2400 Martinique).* It has been in fresh water with the*current owner (not sure about any previous owners) and looks quite nice.* We are a little nervous about switching from our current outboard to an I/O but I'm hoping the reviews for the boat and the fact that my husband is relentless in his care of the boat will help us through any extra work that needs to happen.* We have seen the posts on the I/O opinions and appreciate everyone's input!* This particular boat*has raw water cooling system.* It comes with all electronics and seems to have everything we want in a boat.* Of course, looking so good - we*are wondering if there is a catch!* So, I hope to put this out to you Captains out there for what*the word on the grapevine (or should I say kelpvine) is on this particular boat!
Hope you won't give my husband too much of a hard time for his wife writing this post!
Thanks very much!
Mrs. Grady White
